Lady of the lake

As I predicted yesterday, the rain has hit us pretty badly today - typical cornish rain that is coming down in sheets :-(

This shot was taken early this morning on Bodmin Moor as the clouds rolled in, looking more or less due east I think. The water in the foreground is Dozmary Pool, one of the potential homes of the Lady of the Lake where Arthur is supposed to have received Excalibur.

It's a pretty bleak place to be honest. I can't imagine why anyone would want to hang about there waiting for a sword!
