Legs

Today as I was gardening I came across a beautiful jewel of a spiral in the soil. By the time I returned with the camera it had become a millipede. I had to put in a carton to photograph it as it wanted to burrow into the soil. Unfortunately it didn’t curl up again. As a spiral it seemed to be patterned in green and silver, rather than brown. It was about 15mm long.
