Cosmeston Lakes, near Penarth, South Wales.

My wife and I often have a walk around Cosmeston Lakes which, many years ago was  a limestone quarry for the steel and cement industries. There is a lot of wildlife here and whilst we were on our last walk, this little chap stood in the middle of the footpath directly in front of us having his breakfast. We just stood and watched him until he had finished. I know that many consider them a pest, but I really do like them and I was fascinated by those beautiful little fingers
