All hands on deck

The felled trees have produced a massive pile of branches and leaves : we cannot place them on the Island burn pile and so we must burn them on the beach. The biggest challenge was dragging the branches over to the beach bonfire quickly enough. Everyone played their part and we burnt everything in record time creating a large bonfire in the process. When the tide came back in, all flames and embers were extrnguished and by morning as the tide receded again, there was no trace of the fire to be seen at all. Remarkable.
