A fine end to the day after a mixture of sunshine, cold wind, snow flurries and rain showers.
Normous cooked a really good Sunday lunch with roast beef, roast vegetables, traditional roast potatoes, greens and even Yorkshire pudding. It was all finished at the same time too, something I sometimes find a challenge. I noticed the Delia Smith recipe book was to hand.
I spent a lot of time reading the newspaper articles about The Duke of Edinburgh. So many stories about an amazing life lived to the full.
