Reduced To Flossing With Pine Needles

We went to visit with Mr. W's sister today, and we took Mabel along to play with her new "nephew" Trevor.  She was most emphatically not amused by his oafish antics and his clumsy attempts to engage with her socially.  She sat with her back firmly turned in his direction, and steadfastly ignored him!  He did give it the old college try, but finally resorted to morosely chewing on some pine needles, no doubt coming to the conclusion that middle-aged ladies of German descent were stodgy old stick-in-the-muds!
