The white blossom of the nasty thorny blackthorn looks beautiful on the south boundary of the farm . Another frost last night and the plants are droopy with the stress.
Sunny morning and I lunged a nutty Daisy who flew around and slid over , of course in the side she always need physio on ! Schooled and did physio pole work after and she was a very good girl. We got correct canter lead from walk to canter on both legs .
Home to have a cuppa and I watched the Grand National which is something I would rarely do as the industry is not kind the majority of horses and there’s usually at least one that has to be euthanised , however I did watch it as the local Tipperary girl who is the woman of the moment was racing ...... and she won. First woman jockey to win. She’s was very humble and described it as a ‘good spin’!! Those jumps are terrifyingly huge.
In other news the mice have eaten through my seed storing container but not the seeds ???
The wonderful selection of annual tomato plants has been delivered by our neighbour , at least 25 different varieties including one called ‘Lotus’
