Pear Blossoms

Had a better night's rest.

More sun today, but you know how you feel when you're watching a film and the scene keeps changing and you're trying to follow the general line through all the changes and you're still somewhat confused because everything went so fast?  Well, that was our weather today, neither coming nor going.  In the afternoon, though, we had about three hours of intense heat because the sun was out in full blast and no cloud could defeat it, and so AW took a rather long nap on the couch.  It takes a lot to convince him to nap.  That meant three hours of unbroken quiet time for me.  Some colouring (a new plate), some gaming, some research, and a peek at a MOOC called 'Moons' (just to see what it is about), plus some reading time in bed before lights out.  Enough coping strategies there.

Hopefully some pears after summer.
