A Freakish Accident

Had a good walk yesterday to Shaldon. Fairly strenuous hills. I slipped on some loose soil on a sloping field, and in a freakish accident the side arm of my glasses entered the corner of my eye, and scratched it. I ended up today in the hospital eye unit having it checked and all is well. Ointment will ensure it heals. A lady who had obviously been waiting a long time to be seen asked me if it was still Monday. This is the view looking towards Teignmouth.
