Peebles War Memorial and Quadrangle

I've always thought this was a really beautiful structure since I was young.

It's situated in the centre of town at the Chambers Institute next to the library.

I'm not sure why but there's such a distinctive musty smell when you open the door to the library which always transports me back in time to being a young kid, and the excitement I would feel climbing the stairs waiting to go on another literary adventure!
