Nesting

JJ went to golf and I walked the wood, very slowly and sometimes off-piste, where I watched the birds going about their business.  I also spotted a Jay in another part of the wood foraging high in the pines.

I then went and stood at the back of the playing field where I'd seen a pair of Long Tailed Tits on several occasions recently.  They were still there and I was pleased to see they are building a nest in amongst the brambles.  I say pleased, but they may have problems at the weekends when football is being played as it's not far off to the right of the back goal and errant footballs very often end up in the brambles.  Fingers crossed.
