A Couple of Firsts...

......for the year.

The first was eating out at one of our local pubs.  Of course we were outside, but despite the cool temperature, the sheltered area and sunshine made for a very pleasant hour or so.

Then it was off to the brand new designer outlet that opened yesterday for some retail therapy.  We’d expected to stay away for a week until the rush had quietened down, but as we drove up the road there were no queues and parking was plentiful.  We only spent a short time there, just checking out which shops were open and which were still to arrive.  The longest queue to get into a shop was a surprise to us, perhaps an indication that it was still the school holidays.  I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Haribo shop before so maybe it was the novelty factor.
