I spent just over 13 1/2 hours in A&E for an incredible and sudden pain in my back, which was then joined by nausea and other unpleasant symptoms. Thanks to a particularly diligent emergency room doctor, I spoke to a specialist who explained what might be happening, and what the next steps may be. Very helpful.
