Today's history tour takes us to the local pannier market, so called after the wicker baskets or panniers, in which farmers' wives would bring their produce.
Built in 1884, although there has been a market since 1573.
Each December, free mince pies and mead are said to be given away, although I've not been lucky enough to take part.
