Pansies and prickles!

A gorgeous sunny day here, though still chilly in the shade. Went for a walk in the park first thing with coffee, cinnamon swirl, dog and husband (don’t tell him I listed him last ;)!

Saw this lovely bed of pansies (planted by the council) just in front of a statue of some thistles and pondered for a minute as to why they never plant thistles! Anyway, these looked quite pretty at 10am although the sun hadn’t quite hit them yet.

House strangely quiet now kids back at school and found it hard to do much work so did a bit and then hit the shops...well those that are available here which is limited: supermarket, homewares store and ice cream shop. Had a sneaky cherry mania cone and it was the highlight of my day!
