Rhododendron

Today is my husband’s birthday and miraculously he is having a good day! It has been a beautiful day, we went to Ness gardens at lunchtime and had a picnic lunch . This is a rhododendron from there. Then this afternoon we had friends round to have a glass of bubbly and a slice of birthday cake. All our children either phoned or FaceTimed and his sister visited their Mum in the care home (5 hours away from us) and managed to get her to sing Happy Birthday, which was amazing, so all in all he really enjoyed the day.
