Wood grain.

This lump of wood is waiting to bring us heat in our little stove. It has been so cold of late that having a cosy fire to snuggle around has been a bonus.
Being at home working has cut down my free time and therefore there is less time for walks and cycle rides. My contract ends in May but my employer has offered to extend it. At first i was not keen but the compromise if being part time for another three months might work especially as my two sons both need some help to get onto the bottom rung of the property ladder.
Grateful for having made a decision about work, spending more time with family and hopefully more time outside.
