Up a creek...

Without a paddle.

On our walk yesterday a friend of mums pulled up in his car for a quick hello and also told us about a nice walk near one of the creeks and not too far from here.

Mum and dad wanted to pop in to Truro to do some banking but the car park they normally use was full so we abandoned that idea and just headed for our walk by the creek. Wonderfully quiet we had a good stroll along the creek and Mr C spotted the field of wild primroses under the plum trees, not too much blossom yet and it wasn’t too hilly for dad.

Only 5 minutes in the car from mums but somewhere they hadn’t been before and said she would definitely visit again. On our return I looked up the village and realised it’s part of the Tregothnan estate famed for its tea plantation.

We are leaving tomorrow but we’ve had a lovely week, glorious weather (if a little chilly) and of course brilliant to see mum and dad.

Thank you lots for dropping by and hopefully I’ll catch up with you over the weekend.
