Birds, Butterflies, Blossom & Bertie - Backblip

We found a nice little walk by the River Severn at Blackstone Park only a few miles from our caravan site. Lots of sunshine today and a little warmer I'm glad to say. Apart from tripping over a root in the woods and crashing down on my knees and dropping my new camera, we've had a very nice time. (hurt pride, knees scuffed and sore but nothing serious and most importantly the camera seems ok). Picnic in the park watching the birds and enjoying the sunshine on our faces. On returning to the car we saw a herd of Alpacas right in the middle of the field and round the caravans in the Blackstone Meadow caravan park, and the Alpacas seemed to have right of way!

Back to 'Matilda' for a cuppa and being audience to our host and 8 of his friends who make up the 'GR-VIII Men In Harmony'. They sing in "A Capello" in harmony, the group was formed 5 years ago and since then they've raised thousands of pounds for their chosen Charity, the Midlands Air Ambulance. With their fist public gig since Covid in early May, they are practising in earnest.

And to end our lovely day at 6pm we sat in a tent in a pub garden with two friends and with blankets round our knees we ate a very good dinner and caught up on all that has been happening in our lives since we saw them last October.
