Rubbish

I have no real idea why this photograph was taken except that the newspaper was put on the council bin to prove the date. I'm not sure why though - some dispute with the parish council over the expiry date of the bin sticker perhaps.

I tried Googling to find out what could have happened the day before to warrant the German newspaper printing the photo of the Union Jack on the front page. All I can see is that on Friday 10th January, it was "Margaret Thatcher Day" on the Falkland Islands!
