Flower Friday with Hoverfly

What a beautiful week it’s been, a lovely warmth in the sun, although Jack Frost is still about. I’m seeing more insects, this ‘large’ hoverfly on a tulip in the garden. So having just identified - and read up I now know this to be an all round friendly creature, good at pest control and an excellent pollinator. I think I’m going to enjoy learning more about insects.
