Last ski: Vercorin

Our final ski day for the season at Vercorin was magical. Stunning views (see extra for the view all the way to the valley) and perfect pistes. We did our favorite one from the top to the village 4 times! Met up with four friends to ski with and enjoy a picnic lunch.

Instead of driving up to the village this time we took the cable car from the valley. This cable car runs all year from first thing in the morning until late at night, connecting Chablais and Vercorin. At 7.30 this morning, from the campervan, we watched older children coming down in it and heading off to secondary school. The return journey back up took primary aged children to the school up in the mountains. What an exciting way to start the day for them!

Camped next to us last night in the car park was a retired man from the UK in an old Campervan. He has lived in the van all winter and has been travelling across Switzerland skiing. So far he has skied in 30 different resorts. Now that sounds like a great retirement plan!

Very sorry not to have been active on blip over the last few days. I will catch up now we are home again.
