New Clarinet

My old Bb clarinet has worn out due to old age and is unplayable and not worth repairing. So today I took delivery of a brand new clarinet, with a plastic body and a wooden barrel, so it has a warm sound but doesn't need a lot of upkeep.

I'm very excited! And it has inspired my friend in Worthing to order the saxophone she's been wanting to get for ages. She's gone for a Nuvo plastic one: they are cheap and light but with a surprisingly good sound.

My friend in Richmond has got her Oboe repaired; my Woking friend is great on the keyboard; and Neil is a confident guitarist. When lockdown ends we have a band!
