Crusty

This iron post has endured many years of sea spray. Once in a while it has been painted but without cleaning it first. The rusty concretions have been encapsulated in paint but here and there, the rust is gaining the upper hand.

I love the sense of battle between the corrosion and the protective paint but I think I know which is winning.
