camping trip to Okefenokee Swamp, Georgia

(day 1) left So. Fla. very early A.M., got here mid-afternoon. This is part of the boat basin, with a local resident snoozing in the sun on the boat ramp.
we got to choose from several campsites, and found a nice one
had time to walk a very nice boardwalk nature trail through a shallow part of the swampy woods
the water was high here- they had just experienced several days of very heavy rain from a front that went through
in the background is a man taking pictures of an unusual large moth on the screen of the office/ store- I got some shots of it, too

We are staying in Stephen C. Foster State park (he wrote the song about the Suwanee River- the Okefenokee swamp is the headwaters of the Suwanee, which flows through about the upper third of Florida and into the Gulf on west coast)
-the state park is a small area inside a very large wildlife refuge
