CHAMP CARS

I'm on my way to the track this morning for the inaugural race of the 2021 season. The Champ Cars will be out there. Formerly known as the Chump Cars, this group of race enthusiasts are basically mom and pop drivers.

Very few rules:

1) Cars may not have an average Internet value of over $500, exclusive of safety equipment.
2) All races last 7 hours....whomever makes the most laps in the time allowed wins.
3) If there's a problem and it looks like it will take more than 30 minutes to fix, you have to go to the paddock, not the pits.
4) added ex post facto....obviously, they have to obey all the flagging rules given by the corner workers.

Penalties for rule violations are typically loss of lap count....like doing something really stupid might see 5 or 10 laps deducted from your total laps.

As fas as I can tell, that's it. Loads of fun. Best to see this beauty in Large.
