My friend Patty

I took this picture of her (I couldn’t resist the background sign) as we were sitting at lunch, having walked two-and-a-half miles to get to the nice Japanese restaurant with outdoor seating. After lunch we walked the same distance back. Patty is a chef and a tennis player — hence her strength, good health, and endurance (and, from tennis, her tan).
