A day of goodbyes

We got up and on quite early. B arrived to talk through plans for our journey to school. We left to buy her new ballet shoes. We made a brief diversion afterwards to take some photographs for her ambassador companies. It was then off to Leeds for the last time. We went to say goodbye to her Royal Ballet friends and give a gift to her teacher. She had her final Northern Ballet class and said goodbye to those friends.

She napped in the car "because I just need to be asleep for a few minutes, just a few". It was home for a zoom goodbye party with some of her church friends. They made pizzas each, played games and crafted and ate sweeties. And Katie delighted in it all.

We had a few minutes calm before we then went to the park for a goodbye she was desperate to make sure happened, to  Bobbins. They were crazy, wonderful, fabulous together and there was a few slight wobbles when it came to saying goodbye. Hasn't happened with any of her goodbyes until her Ava.

There have been cards and gifts all day. The lounge is full off things to be checked and final packed. I thought I was almost ready but it seems somehow I still have so much to do.

2 sleeps to go.
