RC Car Racing Track

My bicycle friend, Pam, came over today for a day around OTOW bike riding.  It was supposed to rain, but we lucked out....   The frontal boundary went through in Gainesville and we had mostly cloudy skies with  dryish air (vs humid).  I tried to show her all the changes since she moved from OTOW 3 months ago.   We also rode her favorite paths and streets.
One of the places I showed her is the  RV parking lot under roof.  From there we went to the RC park.  One man was driving his car.  It went so fast I had trouble stopping the car in motion with the iPhone.
The photo on the  left is the pavilion the flyers and spectators stand under during the races.  It's a wonderful, high roof structure with a drivers perch to control their cars.  While we were here, it rained.  We moved the bikes under the roof and talked with a driver.   He was explaining the different kinds of races held there.   On the right is a view over part of the track and the yellow rc car.
After the rain we headed over to more places to ride and see the flowers, etc..  It was not humid, even though it had rained and we were really comfortable.
We headed up to another favorite ride down a byway.  Pam decided she was hungry, so we turned around and went to Taco Bell for some lunch.  The tacos were good, the ice tea was fabulous.  After lunch we went over to our favorite parking lot and rode around trees, road center pieces, a lot of fun was hd until the rain started again....   more like a sprinkle.   We headed over to Sids restaurant, parked the bikes, and sat under the overhang until it stopped.   We had months of chatting to catch up on.
When it had stopped raining we went to Twisty Soft Ice Cream and had cones.    After eating, we finally headed for my villa.   It was 5:30.......    we started riding at 11:00 am..
We covered 18,8 miles on our bikes to see everything that changed.   Pam is returning tomorrow and we will finish the ride.   The weather looks like it will cooperate......  Tuesday and Wednesday are going to be a washout.
Silver has company in the garage tonight, I got  Sweet Pea's charger and she is charging up for tomorrow.
Wow!!!!!! 2 days in a row, of great riding and fun!   WHOOP EEEEEEEEE!
