Below the Surface

Over a year ago our area of the south coast of NSW was devastated by bush fire. Today happily paddling around rock pools looking for sea slugs we came across this burnt leaf in a shallow pool. Doesn’t take much to trigger memories of our black summer. But being by the beach with loved ones helps. Heaps.
