My camera club had a shoot at a local wetlands this afternoon. It is a place I have driven past a gazillion times as it's under the freeway going south. I didn't even know how to access the carpark! 

It was a bit hot but we had fun, meeting afterwards in Kings Park for 
coffee, tea, beer and wine ;-))

I like this egret soaring above the shags/darters underneath. 
I had the camera on "rapid fire" and had over 1000 images to cull. 
There are about 500 left but I'm far too pooped to bother. Mostly rubbish - grainy or birds as they left the frame - (sigh)
