Tatties

Today was a nice warm and sunny day.  We were working in the garden planting seeds and digging over beds to plant potatoes.  We planted pink fir apple and Mayan rose potatoes.  We find that pink fir apple do really well for us, they have a good flavour and hold together well when we cook them but the Mayan rose are a new variety for us so we will have to see how they go. Our son got a paddling pool for Christmas from his Uncle and Auntie and today we got it out for the first time.  He had a lot of fun splashing around and playing with his boat in there.  We were so busy that I forgot to take a photo during the day when it was sunny so this was taken in the evening not long before the sun started going down.
