YELLOW

I chose this one from my chillier-than-expected walk in the cemetery because of the cheery brightness and the iridescence in the hoverfly's wings. Extras show a gorse shield bug on the same bush, a Mistle Thrush singing its heart out up a tree and a Nuthatch having a dust bath. I located a Nuthatch nest site and a Blue Tit site too so plenty of places for me to stake out on future visits.

I've got a dental appointment first thing tomorrow so may visit a different park on the way home. It's about time I checked out the ducks and parakeets again.
