Tulip

This is quite a small tulip - the flower itself is probably less than 2 inches long. It was one of several tulips and daffs I dug up from behind the pond and replanted near the top of the garden where we can actually see them! They were down the bottom when we moved in, but the garden has been remodelled since then. I know it's probably not the time of year for replanting bulbs, but right now I could see where they are and I could see the gaps where they needed to go - neither would have been obvious in the autumn. A few of the flowers became separated from the bulbs and this is one of them.

Edit: the tulip flower is actually only a little over one inch long!
