Today's blip courtesy of my beautiful elder daughter B, and Tia ma 'grand dawg'. It popped up on our chat this afternoon and made me smile.

J was out, the house was quiet, so today I picked up the thread of my novel, having not written since 20th March. It is always stupidly hard to get back in the zone which is why I should write daily. It took the entire day, plus some research and re-reading, to eventually dribble out a mere 613 words. But it's a start. It won't be so hard tomorrow to add a few more, and so on.

I got a visit from 'Environmental Health' this afternoon, checking I was safely isolating at home, which of course I was. Four days to go!
