Tulip time

It's always great when a tulip returns in all its gaudy beauty.

Another pleasant day in the garden. I rifled through the seed boxes, put up the bean poles and the tomato cage. I also dug out the base of the kitchen compost bin - rich and dark & wormy - and folded it into the veg beds. I have a feeling we are running later than some years but I think we'll be OK.
