Great Blue Heron

Today started out bright and sunny, rain came in the afternoon and it cleared in the evening. I got out for a walk in the morning before I was off to the hosptial in the afternoon. The great blue heron stopped by the lake for a visit. He sat on a water drain for quite a while allowing me to get several shots, hopefully I will be seeing more of him over the next couple of months.
