Bluebells...

I had a quick look in Nunn's Wood beside the old RAF Little Walden aerodrome to see how the bluebells were coming on there.  Another week should see them at their best.

I went out with this rarely used Canon 135mm f2 sometimes called the 'magic prime'. It is incredibly sharp wide open but the DoF is fag-paper thin making it a challenging lens to use for this kind of subject. I settled for f4 and under exposed by 1 stop for this photo.

The extra is another pastoral scene taken with the same lens at f8, Redpoll cattle at Little Linton Farm enjoying the lovely weather...
