Ready for Her

The male Ruby-throated Hummingbirds have arrived. I watched, this morning, as three of the handsome little guys busied themselves around the feeders, chasing and being chased! I haven't yet seen a female but they must be on their way since the males are in their full Ruby-throated plumage. The impressive iridescent neck feathers show up beautifully when sunlight strikes them. The hummer on the left is turned away from the light source.
