Reaching for the light!

As I was putting out the washing I noticed the early morning light on our apple tree!  It’s been a fabulous, warm day with blue skies all day! 

Went for a walk by myself this morning and after lunch it was a walk round B&Q.   Ro is still working on making that middle bit of a parasol!  The latest idea is a hollow metal tube into which the parasol fit.  A bung of some sort a few inches down to stop the parasol tube sliding all the way down.  As a bung: a cork with some of that stuff you put round baths over it.  This last to dry and make a permanent bung! 

Hope it works! We solved the problem in a different way!  Simply an old mop handle that is shorter by about six inches, slipped into our new tube!!  It works perfectly!
