Poinsettia

I took this just after six this morning before leaving for the funeral of my sister-in-law in Stafford. This pink poinsettia was one given away by Pentland Plants, with another purchase, a couple of years ago. Pink, purple and white featured strongly in the flowers in her extensive garden.

It was a lovely ceremony with many happy memories, and good to catch up with my other brother and cousin and their wives, who we see so rarely, but the service was Live-streamed for those who could not attend. And the day proved more like summer than the cool spring we had expected.

We are now ensconced in an Aparthotel not far from there, which has simple cooking facilities, having had our readymeal tea, Mastermind on TV and aiming for an early night before the return journey tomorrow.
