Pipit

Waiting patiently for a few hours on the top of Cleeve Hill with a long lens I was trying to spot the ring ouzel again but it was not to be.

The problem having a conspicuous lens is that other birders seem to think you actually know what you're doing. You get quizzed. The ring ouzels were conspicuous by their absence but it was lovely to be up there is the sun and the pipit seemed a good idea to break the monotony of the no show.
