Wild Goose Chase

Mrs C had booked a covid test in Tranent for after 5pm (nothing to worry about, covid app suggested she did it as she had a sore throat), so we all headed off to keep her company. We didn't really plan it well and to cut a boring story short, we spent ages getting something to eat, toilet breaks, shopping and finding a place to dog walk. And that really is cutting it short! We ended up at Crichton Castle at dusk to give the boy a run, this is the stables not the castle.

What a relief to hear the news from Minneapolis, any other result would have led to total despair. It's going to take hard work and years to build on this, but hopefully this is the turning point.
