Meeting the rest of the family

We started off today with some car hunting ... without much success :(.

There is nothing available at the moment as orders are backed up due to Covid. Most cars (we were looking at) have a 3-6month waiting period. We did look at a BMW as they’re a bit more expensive and found that there were some available.

Anyway, we were running late for a lunch appointment to see friends from HK who have now moved to the Sunshine Coast from Sydney. That’s Jax’s family. Some of you may know Jax is our godson, and they left HK in 2013. We are finally close to them again. It was a lovely time with them, and also Rosie’s (youngest daughter) 3rd birthday. So good to see them again after such a long time.

Then we raced off to Tom & Sandy’s place. Tom and Sandy have been on holiday and just got back last night. Great to see them again as well. The family is all together now. Bruce and Jenny came to Caloundra as well, so all the brothers and wives were together along with Jon and Ben. Jess, their daughter dropped in as well to see us.

It’s just wonderful to be around the family again ... any family really. Further away from the Dubai/Pakistan family but close to the Aussie family now.

Lovely day of meeting friends and family. Happy days.
