Bathroom Suite in Black

A few days ago daughter Danielle asked me to house sit pending the arrival of the bathroom suite for their first home, due to arrive between 08:00 and 12:00. The delivery company were to bring the contents into the front room. No problem I said, particularly as they'd paid extra to secure the time slot.

Late last night an email arrived in Danielle's inbox confirming that delivery would be in the time window but was kerbside only. With no contacts available to discuss Kieran took the morning off work with his boss' blessing acknowledging that this would be a two-man job.

So, I arrived at 08:00 this morning and we waited and waited and waited. With midday come and gone Kieran managed to get hold of the delivery company who confirmed that the consignment had arrived late last night and after the day's plans had been cast. We should now expect arrival between 15:00 and 17:00!

It eventually turned up at 15:20 whereby we manhandled it upstairs ready for installation. A frustrating day that's not over since Danielle and Kieran need their delivery premium back. Oh joy.

And the colour of the suite is white by the way.
