Back around the loop

It was a right throw back today heading out on the 'lockdown loop' from last year. It was a consistent walk from the house through much of spring and summer and then the nettles and crops grew too high to easily navigate the footpaths over the fields and then it became winter and a no go zone as it is an extremely muddy walk. Now it is perfect and very dry.

It was fascinating to note all the changes a year make - new garden buildings, changes in the use of the fields, the chickens and horses we use to visit, packed up to live in new pastures, new signs and of course more traffic. 

Repeating what we did during those early days of lockdown, sure takes you back to a different world...one that gives me slight shudders.
