Chaffinch

Very glad I went for a short walk in the morning sunshine before starting work - it was a very busy day and I was starting to feel bit frazzled by the end of it! However, I did really enjoy my walk in the park first thing and got this photo of a lovely wee chaffinch, as well as another of its contortion as it tried to get something tasty to eat (see extra). I also spotted the woodpecker again. There's definitely a pair in the park and I think I have worked out where they're nesting, so I'll be keeping an eye on them (and the nest site).
