Took some bits back to the library today and on the way back dropped into the makers club - where we (socially distanced) had a chat. Today's picture is a software controlled satellite tracker. Once you've told your PC where it is in the world, and calibrated to the two motors, it will track any know satellite in real time, and if you hook it up correctly it will show you what it is beaming down. It's a bit of geek thing.
Someone else was using LibreOffice to work with a MariaDB backend to build something for his bees and honey. I helped them sort that out with my fragmented French but good Linux knowledge.
No one there speaks good English, so it makes me work very hard to practice my French....
