Enjoying the afternoon sunshine..

Back home yesterday, back to routine today - & back to looking for "things of interest" in the garden. The opening buds of the Aesculus parviflora (shrubby cousin of the horse chestnut) have interesting shapes so were my target for today. I was attempting to capture a decent shot, despite the breeze, when some of the more advanced shoots further inside the shrub caught my attention - the dappled afternoon sunlight really brought out the shapes & colours..
