Nithsdale Hall

Nithsdale Drive, Glasgow. Designed by Alexander Skirving, 1887. Built as a mission hall for Queen's Park United Presbyterian church, B listed. Skirving trained under Alexander "Greek" Thomson and hence the building is said to be "Thomsonesque".
The building lay empty for many years, was severely damaged in a fire and destined for demolition. Thankfully it has now been rescued  and is undergoing conversion to residential use.
Took this photo on my walk around Pollokshaws Rd/Queen's Park/Strathbungo today. A fantastic area for Victorian architecture.
The extra photo is a side view of the hall showing the lower floor.
The building is to be split into at least two flats.
More information and even more here.
